I don’t know where to start with this review, it was apparently written by the CEO of the Birdchain ICO Joao Martins and glosses over the fact that they left mid ICO and immediately kept developing the same product. This information was not made available to the investors.

Our umbrella company includes some e-commerce platforms, a social media network, and a few crypto businesses. I am the CEO of one of the crypto projects.

What challenge were you trying to address with Astrone.xyz?
We hired them to help us with app development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Astrone.xyz is developing half of the software for an app we’re currently building. Functionally, it’s an incentivized marketing platform for crypto and blockchain. We broadcast relevant content and incentivize our users to engage with it. Using gamification techniques makes it more interesting and offers a more fulfilling UX to improve our returns.
The team has also supported us with marketing. They managed our social network platforms and selected content to post. Right now, they’re focusing on the development side of our work. Once we had enough staff, we decided to keep our marketing in-house. One teammate is an expert in Solidity, so Astrone.xyz has been able to create a few blockchain contracts for us, as well.
What is the team composition?
Marketing experts and a senior and junior developer from Astrone.xyz are working on this project with us. They assigned us a project manager, and I interact with the senior designer directly.
How did you come to work with Astrone.xyz?
We used to be a part of the same parent company until they left several months ago. Once they became an independent contractor, we continued outsourcing their team.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent between €50,000–€60,000 (Approximately $56,935–$68,322 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership began in August 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Astrone.xyz planned all the work ahead of time, so everything went smoothly. They helped us find ways to add all the additional features we wanted.
We just recently launched the app. Currently, it has about 3,800 active weekly users and roughly 6,000 active monthly users. It isn’t in its full form yet and we have had 27,000 organic downloads. It has been successful so far.
How did Astrone.xyz perform from a project management standpoint?
We hold weekly meetings. Our project manager works directly with their team and relays our requests and all the relevant information. They take the time to figure out how long each feature will take to develop. Upon approval, they begin development and implementation. Astrone.xyz has delivered everything on time, if not ahead of schedule.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Astrone.xyz is always available, which I personally enjoy. I like how easy it is to communicate with their team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think Astrone.xyz is on the right track. I would say their only limitation right now is the size of their staff, but I’m sure they’ll grow as they get more business. Even though they’re a small team, they’re proactive and they invest marked time and effort into their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure all the materials you send are clearly explained and include proper wireframes. All the communication should centralize around the project manager. It took us a while to figure out how to establish a productive bond.
Choosing a communication style was the most important decision we made. Our team’s respective project managers are in touch, which keeps everything is very clear. Defining every task we needed them to complete proved productive for us, but it was a little chaotic until we did.
